Scheduled - Impact Details: 
Description: This project includes replacing existing light fixtures and installing new lighting controls and switches. During this work, some areas may experience temporary disruptions, including brief periods of reduced or no lighting and limited access while installations are underway.
Schedule & Locations:
Work will occur on weekdays from 5:00 AM–1:00 PM (with 9:00 AM–1:00 PM reserved for areas clear of occupants) and on weekends.
Floor-by-floor schedule (subject to minor adjustments as the project progresses):
Ground floor & 1st floor: January 26
1st floor: January 26-February 23
2nd floor: February 16-March 9
3rd floor: March 2-March 31
Specific areas NOT included:
Ground floor: N003 (building systems lab), N007 (project archives), N014 (wood shop)
1st floor: N173-N176 (classrooms), N145 (jury gallery), N103 (gallery)
3rd floor: N310 (CDAC studio), N315 (student lounge)
Window stair area on all floors
Reason: This upgrade will enhance energy efficiency across KSU by reducing wattage through LED lighting installation and lowering operational hours through automated controls and dimming capabilities. These improvements will help decrease overall energy consumption.
Logistics: Work will progress floor by floor, beginning on the ground level and moving upward to the 3rd floor. A storage container will be placed near the chiller yard to house project materials and will be positioned to avoid disrupting daily operations. Weekend work may be added as needed to maintain the project schedule. Project managers will continue coordinating directly with building occupants and will provide ongoing updates throughout the duration of the work.

Scheduled - Impact Details: 
Description & Location: These closures are necessary to complete concrete work that will restore manhole access to sewer lines in both areas.
Central Parking Lot (P35) Entrance: One half of the entrance drive will be closed on the Marietta Campus.
Atrium Building: A sidewalk near the east building entry will be closed.
Schedule: The concrete restoration is scheduled to take place Friday, February 13 and Saturday, February 14. Work will occur between approximately 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM each day.
Reason:  Restoring manhole access with concrete strengthens the structure, protects the sewer line, and ensures safe, reliable access for future maintenance while reducing the risk of system failures.
Logistics : All barricades and signage will be provided by the contractor, Southern Edge Concrete. Patrons may use alternate entrances to the Atrium Building. Central Lot will remain accessible through its other entry/exit during this time.

Investigating - Some legitimate email messages are being incorrectly identified as phishing and automatically quarantined by Microsoft.

Microsoft has indicated the following issues:

-Some recipients are not receiving some expected emails.
-Some senders are not being notified when a message is quarantined.

If you believe you are missing an email, contact the Service Desk so the message can be reviewed and released if appropriate.

Microsoft is actively working to resolve the issue. We are monitoring the situation and will provide updates as they become available.

Scheduled - Impact Details:
Description & Location: The generator at the Zuckerman Museum is currently not operational. The unit will remain offline until a replacement breaker is delivered and installed. As a result, the building does not have a backup power supply at this time.
Schedule: Replacement parts are now expected to arrive on Wednesday, February 11 with repairs anticipated to be completed by end of day Thursday, February 12.
Reason: This repair is necessary to restore the generator to proper working condition.
Logistics: While the generator remains out of service, backup power will not be available. In the event of a power loss, exit and emergency lighting and elevators will be inactive and non‑operational. At this time, we anticipate mild weather conditions and do not foresee any upcoming threats that may impact building power.
