Impact Details:
Description & Location:  Next week, scheduled work on the building’s electrical systems and chiller equipment will result in temporary disruptions affecting life‑safety systems, door access, elevator service, and building air conditioning. These impacts will affect the entire Architecture Building.
Schedule:
-Thursday, May 21 – The emergency panel shutdown will begin at 5:00 AM and conclude at approximately 1:00 PM.
-Friday, May 22 – The main panel shutdown for pumps and chiller equipment will begin at 5:00 AM and conclude at approximately 1:00 PM.
Reason:  This work is required to complete electrical system repairs and upgrades to the emergency panel and chiller pump controls.
Logistics:
-May 21: Door access will be offline. Emergency lighting and the elevator will be out of service. Fire alarms and the data center will be placed on backup power while work is underway.
-May 22:
The main panel supporting chiller pumps and the air conditioning system will be shut down.
