Impact Details: Description & Location: Electrical feeds from generators will be re‑worked, requiring a full building power outage for Norton Hall. Emergency‑powered devices will remain operational. Schedule: Full Building Outage for 920 Norton Hall: Saturday, June 6 from 5:00 AM-5:00 PM There may be additional power interruptions on Sunday, June 7 during transfer back to normal/on‑generator power Reason: Plant Operations will be reworking power feeds and generators to fully support police operations at Norton Hall. This work ensures continuity of operations during emergencies. Logistics: Non‑emergency devices (HVAC, office receptacles and lighting, vending, copiers, and break‑room appliances) will be without power for the full outage but will not be affected by the brief power interruptions Essential emergency‑powered systems (life‑safety lighting, Police Dispatch, networking equipment, and door access) will remain operational during the outage but may experience brief blips during the transfer activities on those dates.
