Impact Details
Description & Location: To facilitate repairs and renovation activities, the HVAC hot-water system serving Bagwell Education Building and Kennesaw Hall will be shut down beginning this Friday night, June 5. An active leak has been identified in Kennesaw Hall, and as the system cools and pressure conditions change, additional minor leaks may appear at existing pipe joints and connections. These repairs may result in water staining on ceiling tiles, primarily in Kennesaw Hall. Similar issues, while less likely, may occur in Bagwell due to the buildings’ shared system. This outage will affect the entire building for both locations.
Schedule: Work will begin on the evening of Friday, June 5, and will continue through end of business, Wednesday, June 10.
Impact: During the outage, occupants may experience cooler indoor temperatures due to the lack of heating hot water. If you observe any water leaks, dripping, or ceiling tile staining, please submit a service request via the Facilities Portal or notify Plant Operations, so repairs can be scheduled promptly.
