Description & Location: Plant Operations will be performing necessary maintenance on the building’s generator at the Science Laboratory Addition.
Schedule: On Wednesday, August 5, maintenance will begin at 8:00 AM and is expected to continue through the normal workday, concluding around 5:00 PM.
Reason: This maintenance is required to ensure the generator remains in safe and reliable working condition.
Logistics: During this maintenance period, backup power will be unavailable. Any device or equipment that typically relies on the emergency generator will not have support if a power outage occurs. Please ensure that all equipment currently connected to emergency power is properly powered down and prepared before the start of service. If a power outage does occur during this time, building access may be temporarily interrupted.
