Planned Water Outage for 385 Sturgis Library

Impact Details:
Description & Location: Water service to the entire building will be shut off to support the connection of new waterlines across the ground floor. All restrooms, drinking fountains, and other water-dependent fixtures will be unavailable during this period.
Schedule: Starting on Monday, June 8 at 5:00 AM through 5:00 PM on Friday, June 12.
Reason: This shutdown is necessary to complete the installation and connection of new waterlines as part of ongoing maintenance work.
Logistics:
Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) will provide guidance regarding building occupancy during the maintenance period.
This building does not have a fire sprinkler system; therefore, the water shutdown will not impact the building’s fire protection system or fire safety coverage.
